The auto-start pump requires no priming, and the canister must be sealed with the intake and output submerged in water to ensure proper operation.

The quick connect valve allows users to shut off the hoses and disconnect them from the canister without having to remove the canister from the cabinet. This feature makes the cleaning and maintenance process a breeze.

Four lid fasteners provide fast and easy access to the media trays, making it simple to clean, replace, or maintain the filter components.

However, they are not suitable for low water level turtle tanks.
